Over the weekend, I jumped on a good price for a new (to me) lens online. I'm now the proud owner of a AF Micro Nikkor 60mm f/2.8 D!
While I've still got a lot to learn about it, I couldn't wait to share a few shots with my readers here. So without further ado, here's the goods:

Thanks! And you are, of course, correct. I've heard that dedicated macro lenses are typically the sharpest glass in any given product line, and this one doesn't disappoint.
It's similar to fly fishing in that, with good equipment, the user is usually the limiting factor in terms of overall performance.
